When have you felt like a part of a team? Five middle schoolers navigate chaos, play, (un)masking, queer friendships, intimacy, and finding their part through theatre and dance, all in the thick of a dodgeball game. Devised using journal prompts, meditation, ease, improv scores, gesture work, authentic movement, Moment Work (Moises Kaufman) and Queer Dance (Clare Croft) techniques, Period 7 is a sensorial experiment that will leave you searching for an adult dodgeball leagues in your area. Originally presented at the Frederick Loewe Theatre as part of the Spring 2025 Masters’ Dance Concert. Expanded for The Tank NYC’s 2025 PrideFest.
